Fashion Marketing Scholarship -  The Art Institute's Passion for Fashion Competition offers students an opportunity to compete for a full-tuition scholarship to study at one of The Art Institutes campuses. The competition, open to high school seniors in North America, consists of two categories – one for fashion design; the other in fashion marketing, merchandising and retail management. Grand-prize winners receive a full-tuition scholarship to one of The Art Institutes locations with a fashion program.

Kapor Hamilton Public Relations (KHPR) ()has added three new accounts: avant-garde apparel company Raw 7, Obey Clothing, and the 2007 Surfer Poll and Video Awards, to air next month on Fuel TV. For each, KHPR will handle a range of PR, media training, celebrity endorsement, tradeshow support, and event planning services.

Celebrity Ditch Day - Page Six reports that Fashion Week might have fewer celebs than usual, Coutorture reports that Anna Wintour will be sitting this one out, and Biz Bash speculates on the why. (Maybe they are all too busy creating their own fashion lines?)
