New Zealand Fashion Week + Coco PR

Pack your most stylish designer duds and make sure you’ve brought enough valium for the fight, we’re off to New Zealand for Fashion Week! (Well we wish!)
Hailing from all over the globe, fashion industry insiders will converge in New Zealand September 16-22 for a week long spectacle, showcasing established and emerging designers, for Fashion Week.
Unveiling their latest collections will be Karen Walker, 2007’s Prix de Marie Claire award winner for best creative talent, unconventional Aussie designer, Therise Cooper, and iconic line Nom*D. With partners like, Air New Zealand, Redbull, and Samsung; News Zealand’s fashion talent is worth noticing.
Of course, what is Fashion Week without the help of Fashion PR? In NZ, Fashion PR agencies like Coco PR are working around the clock, getting ready for the runway shows of three of their labels; Elusiv, Knitwear by Claire Euinton, and Michael Pattison.
Elusiv’s Fall 2008 collection, appropriately titled Discovery, is sure to boast a proud array of smart edgy clothing capturing the heart and soul of the New Zealand man. Pay close attention to Michael Pattison’s Fall 2008 Yoko Homo collection. His signature focus on fine tailoring and ability to craft fresh unique patterns through design, exude sophistication and style. Stick to Your Knitting, Knitwear by Claire Euinton’s Fall 2008 collection, will be an exercise in function and form through manipulations of varying yarns used to create soft, finished, sustainable garments.
Launched in January 2007 by former Fashion Editor, PR Professional and Stylist, Shideh Olafsson and former Editor, Fashion Journalist, Miranda Likeman, Coco PR is a full service Fashion PR agency based in Newton, New Zealand. Created to serve as the “middle man” between fashion labels and the media, services include marketing, advertising, product placement, events, and website management. In addition, the Coco PR showroom is a one-stop-shop for stylist, wardrobe buyers and fashion editors to browse sample garments for features, shoots, and editorials.
