Oh, great story! But I think the moral of the story is do what you love and work for people you love because in the end, it all pays off in a big way. I was really rooting for Leanne as well. It's nice to see such innovative fashion.

This makes me think I should take the vintage dress form from the 40s someone offered as payment for some copywriting I did!

I am freelancing to become the best milliner this century.

Believe it or not HATS are on there way back, thanks to Carolyn Herrera and Ralph Lauren Fall 2008 collection.

I am planning to study with Wayne Wichern next month in the northern bay area of Redwood City, CA, and who is largely, self-taught millinery. Wayne Wichern also learned the art of hatmaking in part from John Eaton, a Seattle milliner who created and sold hats to the city's social set from the 1940s to the '60s.

Presently, I am seeking a place to laid my hats. Local stores, shops anywhere that take a hat. Do anyone know of a place for my hats?
I am in the Dallas, TX area, but I place anywhere!

I am happy for Designer Leanne Marshall, her dreams are made true, it brings me tears of joy, for someone to make it. Me next please!!
Smile
Thanks alot!
