Additional clients include jewelry brand Lucid New York,  denim line Little in the Middle Jeans and Celebrity Stylist Daisy Lewellyn.  5s Public Relations will be responsible for all public relations efforts including national and regional media outreach, key cross promotional partnerships, celebrity endorsements as well as special events for Closet Fetish.

Closet Fetish is a line of couture shoe boxes and closet products that offer a stylish and functional alternative to organizing your closet. Constructed out of high-gloss extra sturdy cardboard, the couture shoeboxes are assembled with a 4×6 frame on the outside so you can easily locate your favorite pair.

The line also includes Closet Fetish Wooden Hangers and Baby Fetish Wooden Hangers, both featuring a space saving body, a set of precision routed notched for hanging straps, and a metal bar with anti-stain clear cushion clips for hanging pants and shirts.

DMD Lab Provides Free Fashion PR

DMD Lab is a pilot project from DMD Insight, a full-service integrated marking agency known for its work with clients such as The Guggenheim Museum, Narciso Rodriguez, and Hunter Douglas. In a strategic decision to invest in a new generation of fashion labels, DMD Lab is providing thousands in pro bono marketing services to establish up-and-coming fashion brands and foster promising design talent with a sustainable focus.

To begin, DMD Lab leveraged relationships with fashion editors and fashion industry stakeholders to get the word out about their emerging designer competition, which resulted in about 100 applicants. The DMD Lab team then visited the finalists in their home studios, finally settling on two winners, chosen for their point of view and commitment to sustainability – principles at the core of DMD Insight and DMD Lab.

Fashion PR News: Cameo PR Announces Client Perlina Handbags

Cameo PR, a New York- based boutique fashion public relations firm that specializes in accessories,  has added handbag company Perlina to it’s roster. Cameo will handle all media relations, product placement, website and collection launches, celebrity endorsement and special projects.

Founded in 1989, Perlina now produces over two hundred styles of hand-crafted handbags, briefcases, and small leather goods seasonally. In addition, they have added footwear collection. Beyond its signature brand, each of Perlina’s product categories adapt into select private label programs.

A family owned business run by brothers Roger and Cezar Mizrahi, Perlina now has the support of over three hundred employees, between the United States, Europe, and the Orient. Perlina has become a mainstay in the department store arena, as well as in specialty stores. Their range of distribution includes Japan, Canada, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean.

For Spring 2009, the company has sourced more new leathers from both Italy and South America, updating the collection to include classic silhouettes that have been accented with updated hardware, and rich subtle treatments that reflect the current fashion trends.
