Twitter’s Effects on Fashion Retailers, 140 Character Conference

We are excited to announce that founder and editor of PR Couture, Crosby Noricks, has been tapped to speak on the panel, "Twitter Effects on Retailers," during the 140 Character conference in Los Angeles, October 27, 28.

Crosby will be speaking alongside Nicole Aimee Schreiber (Project Manager at Red Interactive & Land’s End) and Maria Ogneva (Director of Client Services at FashionablyMarketing.Me) discussing how retailers are building social communities through Twitter. The panel will be moderated by Macala Wright-Lee, founder of Fashionably Marketing Me.

About the #140conf

The #140Conf looks at twitter as a platform and as a language we speak; over time, it will neither be the only platform nor the only language.  #140conf is not an event about  microblogging or the place where people share twitter tips and techniques; rather, its a fast-paced conversation where the participants explore the effects of the real-time Internet on  their business(es) and industries. The original scope of #140Conf was to explore the effects of twitter on celebrity, the media, advertising and politics; over time, the scope expanded to look at the effects of twitter on topics ranging from public safety to public diplomacy.

Meet Crosby Noricks

Hi. I'm Crosby, the founder of PR Couture and a fashion brand strategist. I care about supporting and celebrating fashion publicists as well as helping rad companies connect with their audiences in more meaningful ways. Recently, iMedia included me in their annual list of 25 Internet Marketing Leaders and Innovators, along with people from Starbucks, Twitter and Volkswagon, which I think is pretty neat.
