Fashion PR Must-Reads: Top Web Sites Every Fashion Publicist Should Know
On Saturday I had the amazing opportunity to present about fashion PR and emerging trends to the Public Relations Student Society of America’s (PRSSA) National Conference – which was held, conveniently, in downtown San Diego. In the presentation I discussed some of the more traditional tenets of fashion PR and then moved into how the fashion industry and entrepreneurs have harnessed the power of the self-publishing web 2.0 to provide countless new ways to engage and monitor brands online.
I have uploaded the presentation to SlideShare but received so many inquiries about the resources and must-read section of the presentation that I wanted to make these links their own post on PR Couture. I’ve also added a few on.
Thank you to everyone who came to hear me speak, especially those of you who stood in the cold afterward to ask a few questions and take a photo. I can’t tell you what it means to visit with and get to know my readers. I was inspired by your passion for the profession and can’t wait to see how your careers unfold.
