A match made in indie heaven. Sense of Fashion, the e-commerce online marketplace for indie designers and shopping enthusiasts partnered with We The People Fashion Collective, a brick and mortar clothing and accessory boutique in New York City to launch their pop-up event.
PR Couture got the chance to interview Daria Shulay of SOF before the event, and then to attend the pop-up cocktail reception this past Thursday, Nov. 11th at the We The People Store at 156 Stanton Street.
Aside from the gorgeous, one-of-a-kind apparel and accessories, the cozy shop was perfect for networking thanks to the intimate and trendy vibe. This collaboration was a smart way to converge Sense of Fashion’s online audience with We The People’s brick/mortar audience to not only promote their individual brands, but to promote the independent designers as well.
I got a chance to sit down with Daria Shualy, founder and creative director of Sense of Fashion as well as Vera Ng, founder of We The People to find out more about the event and the collaboration between these two indie fashion visionaries.
