    Using Video and Film is a great way to extend PR especially in a field such as fashion. Fashion is visual and sometimes just words don’t do it justice. Behind the scenes of the latest Lucky blogger was an interesting piece. This video is a great tool for PR in the fashion industry because it spotlights many fashion sites that style gurus would appreciate. I’d never heard of many of the blogs featured in the video. After checking a few of them out, I learned that every different writer has a completely new perspective on what fashion is and where it’s headed. Videos like Lucky blogger allow the public to get familiar with blogs that aren’t super popular but great places to visit. Marketing, event recaps, and interviews boost PR.
    The second video, Levi’s Have Eyes, is unique in its own way. A publication that acts as a history book of black and white pictures is a brilliant idea. Pictures can be worth millions of words and allowing not only professional but amateur photographers to contribute gives a fresh look to the world of fashion. Making a video like this allows the public to see the workshop and gives them information in case they want to participate to make a change or get the yearbook once it’s finished.
    The last video, the film by Alexandra Roxo for the Suzanne Rae fall/winter 2011 collection, is stunning. This video truly captures an individual’s style and persona in a piece of clothing. It makes a fashion statement by telling a story to convey not only clothing but a lifestyle.
