As part of the Luxury Manifesto series for the Waldorf Astoria Facebook page and website,  John Vanderslice, Global Head of Luxury and Lifestyle Brands for Hilton Worldwide, chats with Tommy Hilfiger about brand development, affordable luxury and maintaining authenticity.  The video isn’t embeddable (gah!), but the Luxury Manifesto site provides some interesting tidbits, via video and guest blog posts, that demonstrate the Hilton’s attempt to build a content strategy around thought leaders connected to all aspects of luxury including  leading restaurateur Danny Meyer and Steve Sadove, CEO of Saks 5th Avenue.
