Ready to Launch Book Signing Soirée Tonight

When I woke up this morning I had a tickle of excitement, not unlike the feeling you get when it's your birthday and there are a million things to get done but you don't mind because it's a day for celebration! I also had a dream that my book was twice as big and full of misspellings, but what's a party without some subconscious weirding. The lovely ladies over at Elle Communications have set up a lovely spot at the Hard Rock San Diego's rooftop bar, Float, and it promises to be a magical evening. If you are in San Diego or near, or have friends who do,  I'd love to have you, simply RSVP to prcouture@ellecomm.com.

Also, if you have been thinking about getting a copy of Ready to Launch, please consider doing so today. I'll be switching up the donation a bit and sending $1 from each book sold today to Providing Opportunity, a US-based nonprofit working in Barrio Blanco, a makeshift community near Cabarete in the Dominican Republic. The 2.5-acre neighborhood is home to 360 people, nearly half of them children. Two-thirds of the residents of the barrio are Dominicans; the rest are immigrants from Haiti. I recently became a founding donor for their latest project, a school and medical center being built to serve this challenged community. Please let me know if you have any specific questions about this effort, and know that your support of the book is not only a great way to support me, but it makes a real difference elsewhere as well.

Meet Crosby Noricks

Hi. I'm Crosby, the founder of PR Couture and a fashion brand strategist. I care about supporting and celebrating fashion publicists as well as helping rad companies connect with their audiences in more meaningful ways.
