Campaigns We Love: Prescriptives Beauty Print Game + Win Custom Foundation

Who: Prescriptives
What: In 1983, Prescriptives was one of the first brands to offer Custom Blend Foundation and last year, the brand became the first brand to offer it online via live video chat with photo upload technology. The Prescriptives Beauty Print Facebook Game posits the unique colorways of beauty bloggers and influencers against one another, inviting the participant to match the custom blend to the blogger for a chance to win.

Where: Prescriptive's Facebook Page 3/10 - 3/30

Why: Showcasing the individual Beauty Prints through Facebook, (where Prescriptives has amassed 158k likes) is a creative way to promote Prescriptives leadership position in the custom foundation category while appealing to fans individuality (who doesn't want to see what their Beauty Print) might look like. The matching game isn't overly complicated and each day, participants have a chance to win their own foundation and Beauty Print, driving repeat plays and growing word-of-mouth among winners. Plus, I love that the concept was actually born out of a pitch:

We realized from a PR perspective that the art (aka Beauty Prints) we were using to pitch the Custom Blend story and show what went into a Custom Blend Foundation recipe was actually quite beautiful. We realized that making a Beauty Print for bloggers and sharing them with the Facebook community would be a great way to visually communicate what Custom Blend really was for those newer Prescriptives fans who weren't familiar with it. The matching game was a natural evolution from that. The  bloggers we chose to include were those who had a really authentic love for the brand and the Custom Blend product, and whose blog voice we wanted to share with the extended Prescriptives community.
