Laila Dar

Storyteller, go-getter, bona fide shoe addict. Laila Dar is the Founder & CEO of Rani Public Relations, where she works with indie entrepreneurs on all things PR + marketing — including media relations, brand messaaging, branding, strategic partnerships and brand consulting. As a communications expert, Laila doesn’t ignore what makes your brand unique; she embraces and celebrates it. She loves helping small businesses get the recognition they deserve, especially those founded by women, minorities, LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and other underrepresented groups.

Prior to launching Rani Public Relations, Laila held roles at Neiman Marcus, boutique PR agencies and several luxury fashion startups. She is an active member of The Female Founder Collective, National Association of Women MBAs, Public Relations Society of America and ColorComm. When she’s not busy working on communications plans or pitching to top-tier media outlets, you can find Laila roaming the newest exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art.
