bcbg2.jpgWhen you love fashion, but live in a city that thinks flip-flops are appropriate all-weather, all-occasion footwear, all the hub-bub, tra-la-la and glamour of the 2007 Mercedes Benz Fall Fashion Week can seem a bit like a glittery, albeit chilly, cashmere wrap and buttery-leather boots kind of fantasy-land.

Thank goodness for me then, that Coutorture has outdone themselves this year by uploading, with tremendous speed and efficiency, photos and streaming video from Fashion Week so that fashion voyeurs all over the word can all get a taste of the real deal (often before style.com). Sponsored by ShopStyle, anyone is free to repost and distribute this content – check out shows and interviews by Alexander Wang, Rachel Roy, BCBG and tons more.

I especially enjoyed this glimpse backstage at the James Coviello show.

Now, back to the sunshine, skinny jeans, and formal shorts. Sigh.
