Daily Candy took my business from my basement to the boardroom. In 2004, I started Xperience Days, a website that offered 1,000s of unique activity based gifts across the US. Seven months after we began selling experience gift certificates we were fortunate enough to be featured in Daily Candy. Our visitor traffic immediately doubled, our sales immediately doubled, it helped propel us into a real business and gave us the push we needed to move the startup out of my basement and into an office. Over the next year, we continued to receive traffic and referrals from this one piece of exposure. I can honestly say that I’m not sure I my company would be where it is today if we had not be lucky enough to be featured in Daily Candy in 2005.
