Factory PR, a public relations, marketing and image management firm located in NYC, is excited to announce that Genevieve Ascencio has joined as Senior Account Executive.
Genevieve Ascencio’s career in fashion public relations began when she joined The Bromley Group in 2004. Over the course of 3 years, she contributed to some of the agency’s most prestigious accounts including The Frye Company (footwear and handbags), KangaROOS, UGG Australia, and British lingerie collections Fantasie, Rigby & Peller and Freya, as well as American lingerie brand Goddess. Responsibilities for these clients included product placement, pitching TV and print, celebrity seeding, and managing special events. Her work on the Frye account resulted in millions of dollars of equivalent advertising value and millions of consumer impressions in leading publications and award-winning television programs. Other accounts that Genevieve has honed her skills on are children’s label, Petit Patapon; GLO Jeans; Elle MacPherson Intimates; United Nude and Terra Plana.
When the opportunity arose to hone in on the denim market, Genevieve joined James Jeans – Dry Aged Denim in-house, to launch their organic denim collection, men’s collection and to elevate brand image over all. With just under three months to produce tangible results, Genevieve secured placements in People Style Watch, Self Magazine, The New York Post, The New York Sun, OKMag.com, Blueprint.com as well as a showroom feature on About.com.
At Factory PR, Genevieve she will focus her attention and PR prowess on the men’s division. Among the accounts she will service are DDCLAB, Eddie Bauer, luxury shirt collection Zachary Prell, 2(x)ist Bodywear, Italian apparel label Rare Man and Rare Donna, SHANE&SHAWN Footwear, The Art of Shaving and Haspel suits. She is thrilled to be a member of a brilliant team of publicists that get results!
