Fashion PR Girl Holiday Survival Guide
Oh #PRGirl, the holidays are no joke. Even though your days may be filled with spring pitching, there is no escaping the holiday spectacle of last-minute gift-guides, client and agency holiday parties, media previews and of course, family, friends, and indulging in your favorite holiday rom-com with a cup of delicious hot chocolate sprinkled with cinnamon after a crazy day. Now I know that’s not just me!
To assist, there’s nothing quite like a purse+wallet+phone cover combo with easy sneaky charging space to make sure you have everything you need in one place as you flit from event to event. Perhaps more delightful, the Poste Smartphone Wallet has the words “bonne nouvelle” which means “Good News” in French. I’m not sure how more PR Girl you can get! If you haven’t picked up a Boostcase yet, do yourself a favor and ensure that no matter where you end up, you’ve got enough battery to respond to last-minute editor requests and instagram the magic.
December loves drama, so make sure to have some Moonflower Essence on you at all times. A few drops under the tongue (and politely suggested to irate bosses, co-workers and stressed out BFFs) is the perfect antidote, promising “reflection and focused introspection in times when we feel entangled with unresolved drama.” Yes please. Of course, the holidays require a certain festive fashion flair, to which I recommend a statement necklace like this gorgeous gold go-to, an incredibly flattering dress it up, dress it down polka dot skirt, and a pair of ultra-comfy (latex foam footbed!), safe for running in the slush black wedge boots. Bad Education by Nars is my favorite go-to gloss, put it over a matte red for serious lip action, or wear it as an every-day hint of red. And, when there simply isn’t time to schedule in a gel mani, save money and minutes with nail stickers – I think these red lace ones are just perfect for the season.
Of course, no holiday survival guide would be complete without a last-minute gift recommendation for those, well last-minute affairs. Stay cool and collected and oh so classy with Jouer poppers. As Jennifer Rose over at Post + Beam put it, “I’m a huge fan of this brand, and these are awesome to keep on hand, because over the next few weeks, you never know when you’ll need a few extra gifts on hand to pass out. They’re so fun and takes the stress out of unexpected gift giving.”
So there you are my talented kitten, have an incredible month and let me know what your survival musts are in the comments or on Twitter!
