flair.jpgFlair, an all encompassing Fashion Consultancy that offers pioneering brands the services they need to grow and establish themselves in the market, is the brainchild of European Marketer and Boutique Owner, Nadia Hafid and co-founded by PR Guru, Bethanie Lunn. Flair Ltd launched officially in July 2007, recruiting pioneering brands with a luxury, high end appeal for the autumn/ winter 08/09 sales period. PR Couture interviewed Lunn back in July, 2007

For designers, particularly those starting out, Flair offers introductory and showcase services to enable them to show off their designs and create distribution and retailing relationships. For distributors and retailers, Flair offers a two way proposition enabling relationships to be established upstream with suppliers and downstream to retail customers.

Flair is now proud to announce the recruitment of four new clients.

These include: women’s wear designer Richard Sorger, handbag designer Claudine, women’s wear label, Melt London and luxury handbag label, Belen Echandia. This client base is set to make Flair one of the most appealing and sought after Fashion Consultancies of the moment. The Newcomers

flair1.jpgRichard Sorger is a London-based designer of luxury beaded and embroidered garments whose celebrity clients include Courtney Love, Cindy Crawford and Jennifer Lopez. He makes beautiful garments using traditional couture techniques, but which subvert our expectations of beauty, and of traditional luxury. His work is a combination of jewellery, clothing, tradition and experimentation. Richard’s Haute Couture embroidery is about demanding the impossible and refusing to compromise. In 2007 Richard was awarded the On/Off Exhibition Visionary Award supported by His pieces are sold by eight different stockists. These include: L’eclaireur in Paris, Feathers in London and Al Hama in Saudi Arabia. Richard’s work has been featured in publications such as Drapers, Spec and The Sunday Telegraph. Richard’s collections will be shown at London Fashion Week’s ON OFF from 10th to 15th and at Zip Zone in Paris from 28th to 2nd March.

Claudine is a new handbag designer whose graduate collection was greeted successfully and she was offered a group show at the V&A, and another for Breast Cancer Care, showing alongside Vivienne Westwood, and Roland Mouret. She went on to work as a show piece designer for London based Tristan Webber, showing at London Fashion Week; until she decided it was time to create her own pieces. Claudine’s handbags are stocked in Tokyo Paris, Rome and London. Publications that her collections feature in include: Harpers Bazaar, Grazia and Drapers. The Claudine collections can be viewed at The Box in Paris from 1st to 4th March.

Belen Echandia was established in 2003 as a luxury company with a personal touch. Founder Jackie Cawthra saw a gap in the market for an approachable designer brand focusing on excellent customer service which is high-quality with small-scale production on a global scale.

It is Belen Echandia’s unique personal service which distinguishes it from other luxury brands. Despite the company’s growth, Belen Echandia gives genuine personal attention to every private customer, including personally tailored advice and a bespoke colour pre- ordering service each season. Belen Echandia has stockists across the globe in: London, Hong Kong, Dubai, Los Angeles and New York. The handbags have been featured in a variety of publications such as: Vogue, Grazia and Elle and will be at The Box in Paris from 1st to 4th March and during London Fashion Week from 10th to 15th February.

flair2.jpgMelt London presents their winter collection ‘Percival loves Doris’, including 28 perfectly formed pieces. Strong yet tactile twill, sensual silk satin camisoles, deeply cuffed jackets and coats, flirty tees with exclusive prints and body hugging skirts make up this range with that quintessentially English vibe that makes Melt so chic, quirky and urban in one hit. Melt is stocked in two branches of Feathers in London and has been seen in Vogue, Elle, Sunday Times and In Style. Melt will be showing at Premier Sur Mode in Paris from 28thFebruary to 2nd March and also at the Flair Fashion Showroom from 1st Feb to 15th April.

In addition to other events each designer will have their collections on show at the Flair Fashion Showroom from 1st February- 31st March; the venue for this showroom varies depending on dates.

All brands have received much press acclaim in the Globe’s leading titles and have a strong celebrity following.

Every brand Flair represents has the luxury factor in common yet each is individual in their own right.

Territories targeted include Europe, UK and the Middle East.
