Style House PR, a fashion PR agency run by  Janna Meyrowitz, is excited to announce representation of Dakota Martin, a prep-femme contemporary collection, in their inaugural season, Spring 2009.

Designers Designers Lizzy Sall and Shannon Casey set out to fill a glaring void in their closets and their local boutiques — what is a preppy girl to wear in a contemporary market? They loved their kilt and pearl wearing days but had matured past them. They did not want to give up their bright colors or popped collars but they craved something more creative and personal. They knew style, and were classic at heart. Thus they sought a happy medium between over-exposed trends and Nantucket Reds. It was with this mission that they set out to create Dakota Martin.

Lizzy and Shannon find constant inspirations from the classic grace of Holly Golightly and Jackie O to the quirkiness of Annie Hall, and the style of current icons like Blair Waldorf.

Available at Intermix, Mint Julep and www.DakotaMartin.com for Spring 2009
