It’s been ages since I did a live interview, so on Sunday I caught up with Allison O’Grady, founder of Aspiring Couture, is an online boutique and fashion blog featuring the original work of emerging designers like former Show Me The Pretty interviewee Jesica Milton and S Love.
We discuss Allison’s inspiration to start her boutique as well as the upcoming Winter on the Runway event that will feature over twenty independent fashion designers and boasts Rebecca Minkoff as a sponsor. Allison explains how she got Ms. Minkoff to sign on for the event as well as the importance of taking clothing beyond the visual and into the experiential.
