Suki Altamirano

Suki started her career in PR at Kenzo, where she oversaw North American press for the luxury brand, part of the LVMH Group. She later held in-house roles overseeing PR at Elizabeth Arden and Williams-Sonoma, before founding Lexington Public Relations in 2010. Since then, she has led a small team of media specialists who excel at building creative campaigns to amplify brand awareness, create genuine excitement and build conversation to engage customers. She brings more than a decade of experience in public relations and marketing communications across multiple industries like retail, fashion, beauty, home decor, food and lifestyle. Suki is also a member of Forbes Agency Council, where she shares expert articles and insights on Forbes.com. Born in Seattle Washington, she received her Bachelor of Science at New York University, is fluent in Spanish and currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband Eduardo and son Nico.

Allyson Conklin has always been inspired by the people behind her favorite brands: The forward thinkers, the industry disruptors, and the visionaries of the world. She opened the doors to Allyson Conklin Public Relations (ACPR) in December 2010 to give beauty, home, and lifestyle brands of all sizes an opportunity to gain the awareness they so deserve. She’s a publicist, a partner, and a champion for her clients, all wrapped up in one. Allyson’s career began in New York City with an internship in the fashion department of Footwear News. It was there that she caught the attention of human resources, who, mid-internship, uprooted her, and promptly planted her in the advertising department at W magazine, where she assisted two busy sales directors. But after a short time, Allyson realized that publishing didn’t make her heart sing. She would always have a deep love for the glossies, but she dreamed of an opportunity that would satisfy her high Influence and Steadiness personality (you could say she’s a fan of personality tests). This is when public relations made its grand entrance. Allyson landed a once in a lifetime opportunity in the PR department at Shiseido Cosmetics, and was hooked, both on beauty and on PR. While she later decided to call it quits with the Big Apple to pursue an opportunity out west, she wasn’t about to leave PR behind. Her next role, in Park City, Utah, was heading the PR for a luxury lifestyle developer, Talisker. The snowfall total her first winter there was more than 400 inches. Allyson made it through three. After landing in Colorado in late 2010, and caving to the pleas of an interior designer who urged her to start her own agency, she founded ACPR. Since its launch, Allyson and her team have worked tirelessly to create brand awareness, equity, and advocacy for their clients in the beauty, home, and lifestyle spaces. And their work has paid off tenfold. ACPR clients have been featured in a variety of media outlets from Allure to Vogue and Apartment Therapy to Refinery29. Allyson leads a small team of hustlers in Fort Collins who happily rack up airline miles traveling to visit clients and editors across the U.S. Allyson is an alumnus of Colorado State University’s Apparel and Merchandising program, and resides in Fort Collins with her husband and three (yes, three) dogs. Emma Medeiros

Medeiros is the FIRST public relations firm in the US to specialize in the plus size fashion industry

Originally from Providence, RI, Emma received her degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Emerson College, located in Boston, MA, in May of 2012. Married that same summer, she started a blog called Curves, Cats, and Creams, which focused on bridging the gap between straight size and plus size fashion. To her, fashion is simply fashion. “Why should plus size fashion be an afterthought when the majority of women in this country fall into that category?” she demands to know. “We want to be sexy, feminine, and fashionable, and I think designers, retailers, etc, are finally waking up to that fact!”

Launched in 2015, Medeiros Fashion PR subscribes wholeheartedly to Coco Chanel’s belief that “In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different” by only taking on clients who offer something truly unique, such as Carmina Suzanne, an internationally published agency plus supermodel who is also a Harvard graduate, professional opera singer, and now multiple sclerosis advocate.
