Leonardo Arienti, 30, one of the co-founders of WeManage, an Italian company that helps emerging fashion brands navigate the international market knows exactly how important it is for the fashion industry to continually evolve how (and where) it does business.
Leonardo is a graduate of the EID Milan campus master course in Fashion Marketing– a year long, English course starting at the end of January that trains fashion management professionals to face new challenges in the fast moving world of fashion. One of the most forward-thinking schools in Italy, the IED master courses are a great fit for globally-minded fashion PR and marketing professionals looking to enhance their career knowledge in one of the world’s fashion capitals, Milan.
I had the courage to quit my permanent job and attend IED. Now, as an entrepreneur with my own company, I help fashion businesses improve their business on a global scale.
Soon after he graduated with a law degree, Leonardo decided to move to New York. Motivated by this vibrant experience, newly polished English skills and armed with a childhood dream to be an entrepreneur, Leonardo came back to Italy and enrolled in the Master in Fashion Marketing & Retail Management at IED, Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan.
“I was looking for a program with international exposure to gain sound managerial skills: that’s why I chose the Master in Fashion Marketing. A sparkling multicultural environment, a key element to learn teamwork and how to dialogue and exchange ideas with different cultures, amazed me. Moreover, the IED program gave me a wide range of fundamental skills in the fashion industry and I had the opportunity to get in touch with teachers and professionals that, later, became part of my professional network.”
Once he graduated, Leonardo started working in a brand management agency working for leading global brands. After this positive experience, Lorenzo started his own enterprise, along with two partners.
We started with two customers, and now we’re up to ten satisfied customers. We’re opening a new branch in London to expand our network. This is just the beginning
Specifically, the mater’s program deals with the constantly changing aspects of fashion marketing management: from the analysis of the fashion system to the study of the peculiarities of fashion marketing and fashion communication techniques, through the vibrating world of digital media; from the sophisticated tools applied in fashion brand management to the knowledge of the distribution scenario. Get more information, speak to a school representative, learn more about the program, application details and deadlines.
EID also offers a Fashion Communications and Marketing course at IED Florence for aspiring Fashion PR pros.
