Now, in partnership with luxury goods retailer Bulgari, the SDA Bocconi School of Management in Italy have united their expertise to create a new specialization in luxury business management within the MBA curriculum. The new track, available to 20 participants, will allow students to develop the managerial competencies required today in the business of luxury goods and services.
Developed jointly by SDA Bocconi faculty and Bulgari managers, the luxury MBA will include three months of lessons at Bulgari’s headquarters in Rome and a two-month in-company project in an international branch of the Bulgari Group or at a branch of another luxury sector company. Students will also follow a non-specialized track taken with the other MBA students.
Additionally, the 20 participants will compete against each other for three days in a Bulgari-sponsored business game which will test their ability to deal with the challenges of growth, profitability and sustainability in the luxury goods business.
