It’s no secret that Canada is home to some of my favorite things – Anne of Green Gables, Indochino, Lululemon, Danielle LaPorte, Tiny Devotions, lots and lots of maple syrup… and Lacoste feels the same way. The iconic sportswear brand has chosen to feature Montreal in their Lacoste L!VE campaign, featuring multidisciplinary creative artist Julien Vallée and the band Cosmetics. The Lacoste L!VE Unconventional Talents campaign is a content-rich initiative featuring stylish brand ambassadors to help promote Lacoste L!VE, a new collection that represents “an unexpected and cool combination of Lacoste original style and street art.”
The video teaser above is just a hint of the visual feast that takes place on the the Lacoste L!VE site. Those in need of a little lifestyle inspiration can explore in-depth interviews with Vallée and the Cosmetics, view galleries of photos optimized for social-share, read through a Montreal city-guide, download the iPad app, check out the blog, shop and get behind-the-scenes video content. It’s a rich exploration of content and commerce that effectively demonstrates an edgier side to Lacoste with a robust user experience that is both on brand and on trend.
What do you think of the campaign?
