What are you up to this Thanksgiving weekend?

Fidoo.com is a fashion search engine that launched in July. To celebrate, the site is offering a $2,500 scholarship to a college student or graduating high school student for the Spring Summer 2012 term. Applicants must be majoring (or declaring a major) in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing and Merchandising, or Retail Management.

In a twist, the fashion school scholarship application only requires 140 characters. Well, even fewer than that, as entrants must also include a multitude of hash tags. Entrants must also “like” the Fidoo Facebook Page to be eligible and follow @fashion_engine) to consider their application complete.

For those who need few more characters, applicants may tweet a link to a 60 second video, tumblr article, or blog post showcasing why they are the most deserving applicant.

Then, it’s time to get friends and family to share the post. Judging criteria includes the number of times the application is tweeted, originality, creativity and “ability to show a unique passion in pursuing an education in fashion.”

Deadline  is December 15.  Recipient will be announced on November 1st.
