We are excited to announce that founder and editor of PR Couture, Crosby Noricks, has been tapped to speak on the panel, “Twitter Effects on Retailers,” during the 140 Character conference in Los Angeles, October 27, 28.

Crosby will be speaking alongside Nicole Aimee Schreiber (Project Manager at Red Interactive & Land’s End) and Maria Ogneva (Director of Client Services at FashionablyMarketing.Me) discussing how retailers are building social communities through Twitter. The panel will be moderated by Macala Wright-Lee, founder of Fashionably Marketing Me.

Fashion PR/Marketing Thought Leadership

PR Couture is thrilled to be speaking among other fashion pr and marketing thought leaders who are effectively achieving client business goals through social media. We have always been committed to education, communication and sharing knowledge and can’t wait to speak to the Twitter strategy and success  for PR Couture (12k followers and counting!) as well as highlighting innovative ways in which fashion brands are leveraging Twitter to deepen engagement with customers and fans.

About the #140conf

The #140Conf looks at twitter as a platform and as a language we speak; over time, it will neither be the only platform nor the only language.  #140conf is not an event about  microblogging or the place where people share twitter tips and techniques; rather, its a fast-paced conversation where the participants explore the effects of the real-time Internet on  their business(es) and industries. The original scope of #140Conf was to explore the effects of twitter on celebrity, the media, advertising and politics; over time, the scope expanded to look at the effects of twitter on topics ranging from public safety to public diplomacy.
